Completion requirements
If you've made it to the end of this course and are ready to implement some needed changes to your club, congrats! You will be well on your way to making the changes that need to happen to make your club that much better.
Some last bullet points of advice:
- Do not expect to make vast sweeping changes all at once, especially if the situation in your club is dire. Rack up smaller wins to generate early momentum and use that to push for greater change.
- Related to the above, celebrate achievements to help build that momentum.
- A club rescue, like marketing, is not "one and done". You need ongoing maintenance and review to make sure your club serves its members effectively and efficiently.
- Follow up is a powerful tool to make sure things get done.
- As mentioned at the outset: Don't try to do this program alone. You may need to do early steps by yourself to generate some momentum, but don't try to solve all the club's problems by yourself (unless you're extremely motivated).
Some credit where credit is due:
- Many of the role descriptions originally came from a New Member Guide from HP Houston Toastmasters (though have been revised fairly heavily).
- Some worksheets come from Tracy (she knows who she is).
- The collective help & advice given to me by Toastmasters over the years.
