Please submit a speech introduction to me by Thursday - you can do this on our Easy Speak site or send it directly to me. Your intro should include context, credibility, and content: Context: Why is this speech relevant to your audience, and how? Credibility: Why are you speaking on this subject? What is your experience or research? Content: What will the audience get by listening to this speech? Don't spoil the speech, but give a brief teaser as to what it's about. As an example: Have you ever wanted to know how to survive your first speech? Dave, a professional speaker and coach with five years of experience, has mentored several people through their first speech. He's noticed that there are three common stumbling blocks that many of these first time speakers trip over. You'll learn what these blocks are and how to avoid them -- or if you're an advanced speaker, learn how to help others avoid them. Here with his speech "Punting those Stumbling Blocks" is Dave. Be warned that I do like to make mildly amusing fake introductions for those people who don't send me introductions on time. :)
